EN 1 USE & OPERATION CONTROL PANEL O OFF Icons on Control Panel O Power Off Swing Cool Speed EN = Low = Medium = High 2 USE & OPERATION (CONTINUED) FUNCTION BUTTONS SPEED Connect to the power supply and turn the SPEED knob. The fan will start. Change the speed from Low to High (| for Low, || for Medium and ||| for High fan speed). To switch off the unit, turn the SPEED knob to OFF. Low (|) Medium (||) High (|||) COOL / SWING You must add water before operating the unit on Cool mode. Turn the COOL position to activate evaporative cooling. The water pump will operate and you will feel the cooler air after the Honeycomb Cooling Media is completely wet. Turn the COOL / SWING position to activate evaporative cooling and the movement of the louvers. The louvers will begin to move left to right automatically. Vertical Air Flow - You can manually adjust the lever located at the front of the unit to change vertical air flow. Turn the SWING position to activate the movement of the louvers. COOLER LOCATION Louver Movement Make sure to position the air cooler correctly before you set up and start using the product. Please refer to the COOLER LOCATION section of the separate Safety & Maintenance Guide. EN 3 USE & OPERATION (CONTINUED) FILLING WITH WATER CAUTION: Unplug the unit from the electrical socket before emptying or refilling the water tank. Open the Water Fill Door located on the back of the unit. The Water Level Indicator is located at the front of the unit. Refill the water tank when water level is low. Do not fill water above the "Max." water level mark to avoid water droplets collecting on the louvers. Check the water level in the tank before running the COOL function. Make sure that the water in the tank is above the minimum water level mark. Running the unit in COOL mode with inadequate water may cause pump failure. Water Fill Door Note: The water capacity refers to the total volume of water that can be contained within the air cooler water tank and water distribution system. The water capacity in the tank at the "Max." indicator level may be lower than the actual water capacity of the air cooler. WARNING: Do not fill water tank with dirty water or salt water. This can damage the unit and Honeycomb media. CLEANING & DRAINING THE WATER TANK Below are instructions on how to clean and maintain your air cooler. If the cooler will not be used for a long period of time, please refer to the STORAGE & MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES located in the separate Safety & Maintenance Guide. WARNING: Before cleaning the unit, switch the unit OFF and disconnect from the electrical socket. • Move the unit to a location where the water can be drained. Remove the cap from the drain plug located at the bottom of the unit. Allow the tank to empty. • Refill the water tank with clean water, up to the maximum level and drain it completely. • Use a damp cloth to remove the dirt and dust from the surface of the unit. Never use corrosive elements or chemicals to clean this product. • When the product is not in use, store the unit in a dry place out of direct sunlight. EN 4 USE & OPERATION (CONTINUED) CLEANING THE MESH FILTER AND HONEYCOMB COOLING MEDIA WARNING: Before cleaning the unit, switch the unit OFF and disconnect the power adapter from the unit and electrical socket. • The appliance is supplied with a Mesh Filter and Honeycomb Cooling Media. • The Mesh Filter and Honeycomb Cooling Media are located inside the Rear Grill. See Figure 1 for instructions on how to remove them from the unit for cleaning and maintenance. • Do not run the unit in COOL mode with stale water in the tank. You must empty the water tank and refill with fresh water, especially if the tank has not been cleaned in a long time. • The cleaning frequency for the Honeycomb media depends on local air and water conditions. In areas where the mineral content of water is high, mineral deposits may build up on the Honeycomb Cooling Media and restrict air flow. Draining the water tank and refilling with fresh water at least once a week will help reduce mineral deposits. If mineral deposits remain on the Honeycomb Cooling Media, the media should be removed and washed under fresh water. The media should be cleaned every two months or sooner, depending on your needs. • For best results allow the Honeycomb Cooling Media to dry after each use by turning off the cool function 15 minutes before turning the unit off. Removing the Mesh Filter and Honeycomb Cooling Media: 1. Carefully pull out the rear grill / mesh filter from the Figure 1: cooler. 2. Rinse the rear grill / mesh filter with clean water and let it dry before re-installing to the unit. 3. Carefully pull out the Honeycomb Media from the Honeycomb Frame. 4. Replace or clean media with water and a damp cloth as needed. WARNING: DO NOT operate the Air Cooler when the Rear Grill is removed from the Air Cooler, or if there is a loose-fitting Rear Grill. Doing so can cause serious injury or dangerous electrical shock. Quạt sẽ khởi động. Thay đổi tốc độ từ Thấp xuống Cao (| cho thấp, || cho Trung bình và ||| cho tốc độ quạt cao). Để tắt máy, xoay nút TỐC ĐỘ sang OFF. Thấp (|) Trung bình (||) Cao (|||) LÀM MÁT / ĐẢO GIÓ (COOL / SWING) Bạn phải thêm nước trước khi vận hành máy ở chế độ Cool. Quay núm LÀM MÁT sang vị trí ON để kích hoạt làm mát bốc hơi. Máy bơm nước sẽ hoạt động và bạn sẽ cảm thấy không khí mát hơn sau khi tấm làm mát Honeycomb Cooling Media bị ướt hoàn toàn. Vặn núm LÀM MÁT / ĐẢO GIÓ sang vị trí ON để kích hoạt sự di chuyển của cánh đảo gió. Cánh đảo gió sẽ tự động di chuyển từ trái sang phải. Luồng không khí theo chiều dọc - Bạn có thể tự điều chỉnh cánh đảo gió nhằm thay đổi luồng không khí thẳng đứng. Bật vị trí ĐẢO GIÓ để kích hoạt sự di chuyển của cánh đảo gió. VỊ TRÍ QUẠT LÀM MÁT Hoạt Động Của Cánh Đảo Gió Ổn định vị trí đặt Quạt hơi nước bằng không khí trước khi vận hành sản phẩm Vui lòng tham khảo phần vị trí đặt quạt làm mát bằng hơi nước trong hướng dẫn an toàn và bảo trì. VI 3 SỬ DỤNG VÀ HOẠT ĐỘNG (CÒN TIẾP) ĐỔ ĐẦY NƯỚC THẬN TRỌNG: Rút phích cắm ra khỏi ổ cắm điện trước khi lấy nước ra hay đổ thêm nước vào bình chứa nước. Mở cửa đổ nước ở phía sau của máy. Báo mức nước được đặt ở bên cạnh máy. Đổ đầy bồn chứa nước khi mức nước thấp. Không đổ nước lên trên mức nước "Max." để tránh các giọt nước đọng trên cánh đảo gió. Kiểm tra mực nước trong bình trước khi chạy chức năng COOL. Đảm bảo rằng nước trong bồn chứa nằm trên mực nước tối thiểu. Chạy máy ở chế độ COOL với nước không đủ có thể gây hỏng máy bơm. Đổ Đầy Nước Chú ý: Lượng nước đề cập đến tổng thể lượng nước có thể chứa trong bình chứa nước lạnh và hệ thống phân phối nước. Thoát sạch nước. • Đổ lại bình nước bằng nước sạch, đến mức tối đa và xả sạch nước. • Sử dụng vải ẩm để loại bỏ bụi bẩn và bụi bẩn khỏi bề mặt của thiết bị. Không sử dụng các yếu tố ăn mòn hoặc hóa chất để làm sạch sản phẩm này. • Khi sản phẩm không sử dụng, cất thiết bị ở nơi khô ráo, tránh ánh nắng trực tiếp. VI 4 SỬ DỤNG VÀ HOẠT ĐỘNG (CÒN TIẾP) VỆ SINH TẤM LƯỚI LỌC VÀ TẤM LÀM MÁT CẢNH BÁO: Trước khi làm sạch thiết bị, hãy tắt thiết bị và ngắt khỏi ổ điện. • Thiết bị này gồm lưới lọc Mesh Filter và tấm làm mát Honeycomb cooling media. • Lưới lọc Mesh Filter và tấm làm mát Honeycomb cooling media nằm ở phần trong lưới chắn phía sau. Xem Hình 1 để biết hướng dẫn cách tháo chúng ra khỏi máy để làm sạch và bảo trì. • Không chạy máy ở chế độ COOL với nước sử dụng lâu ngày trong bồn nước. Bạn phải bỏ hết nước cũ và đổ đầy Nước mới, đặc biệt là nếu thùng không được lvệ sinh trong một thời gian dài. • Tần suất làm sạch cho tấm làm mát Honeycomb phụ thuộc vào điều kiện không khí và nước ở mỗi địa phương. Ở những nơi nước có hàm lượng khoáng chất cao, các khoáng chất có thể tích tụ trên tấm làm mát không khí Honeycomb và hạn chế luồng gió mát. Việc xả nước và đổ đầy nước sạch ít nhất mỗi tuần một lần sẽ giúp giảm lượng khoáng chất bám dính. Nếu các khoáng chất đọng lại trên Honeycomb Cooling Media, bạn cần vệ sinh tấm làm mát Honeycomb với nước sạch. Bạn nên vệ sinh tấm làm mát 2 tháng một lần hoặc nhiều hơn, tùy thuộc vào nhu cầu của bạn. • Để đạt hiệu quả tốt nhất, hãy để tấm làm mát Honeycomb khô sau mỗi lần sử dụng bằng cách tắt chức năng mát 15 phút trước khi tắt máy. Tháo tấm lọc và tấm làm mát Honeycomb: 1. Cẩn thận kéo Vỉ nắp sau / lưới lọc. 2. Rửa nắp sau / lưới lọc bằng nước sạch và để cho nó khô trước khi lắp lại máy. 3. Cẩn thận tháo tấm làm mát Honeycomb từ khung Honeycomb 4. Vệ sinh sạch tấm làm mát với nước và khăn ẩm nếu cần thiết.
